Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar and Marvi Sarmad Fight in Live Show over Aurat March

Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar and Marvi Sarmad fought in the live show while discussing the topic of Aurat March. Kahlil-ur-Rehman Qamar is a famous Pakistani drama and film writer and Marvi Sarmad is a Pakistani journalist and feminist activist. Both were invited to a TV show to discuss the topic of Aurat March which is expected on 8th March 2020 to raise voices in favor of Women. But the show turned into a battlefield when Khalil-ur-Rehman and Marvi Sarmad started to fight over the slogan “Mera Jisam Meri Merzi”.

During the show when Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar was explaining his point of view over the rejection of the petition against “Aurat March”. Khalil-ur-Rehman was explaining that he is not in the favor of Aurat March because it’s spreading vulgarity in our society. Go and just have a look over your body. Have you seen your face in the mirror?” During all this, Marvi kept on saying “Mera Jism Meri Merzi”. The host of the TV show tried to calm down both guests but Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar did not stop using abusive language. Marvi seemed to be enjoying the whole situation very calmly by just repeating her slogan again and again.

But some Pakistani Men don’t agree with this slogan and this thing has initiated a fight between Men and Women.
