Celebrities Spotted at Anti-Rape Protest in Karachi

A few days back rape case happened in Lahore Motorway has led to a protest by organizers of Aurat March and many other organizations for making against rapists in Pakistan. Voice against violence has been raised by Pakistani women. They want law and strict punishment for Rapists in Pakistan. The anti-Rape protest was organized by Aurat March organizer at Karachi Press Club and many famous Pakistani celebrities attended the peaceful protest.

Famous Pakistan actress Mahira Khan attended the Anti-Rape Protest at Karachi press club. While talking to the media, Mahira Khan said that there is harassment everywhere. We need to change the mindset of people who think they have the power to do anything anywhere. About punishment for rapists, Mahira Khan said it’s up to the law what the most suitable punishment is. But a rapist should never be roaming freely in our society. It’s very sad to know about the previous rape cases these rapists were involved in but never given any punishment by law.

Other than Mahira Khan, Ayesha Omer, Mansha Pasha, Bushra Ansari, Zara Noor Abbas, Sarah Khan, Yasir Hussain, Shazia Wajahat and Wajahat Rauf attended the anti-rape protest in Karachi along with many other celebrities.

Sarah Khan attended Anti-rape Protest and while talking to the media she shared her feeling about the recent incident. Sarah Khan said that she is attending any protest for the first time in her life. Pakistan needs a law against rapists because women and even kids are not safe in Pakistan. If the government could not make such a law then she would not like to live in Pakistan anymore.

Mansha Pasha and Yasir Hussain also talking to the media and express their feeling and told why it’s extremely necessary to make a law against rapists in Pakistan. The number of Rape cases are increasing in Pakistan day by day. Strict acting by the government is demanded by the public after the motorway rape cases. Many ministers of the Pakistani government are in favor of making such a law.
